HI Mobility bags RM78mil Johor project

PETALING JAYA: HI Mobility Bhd has accepted a letter of acceptance from Perbadanan Pengangkutan Awam Johor to operate the intra-city bus services under Bas Muafakat Johor in Johor Baru, Iskandar Puteri, Pasir Gudang, Kulai, Pengerang and Mersing, worth RM78.15mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the bus transportation services provider said the project is for a period of three years with a two-year extension, commencing from Jan 1, 2026 to Dec 31, 2030.

HI Mobility said the parties will enter into a definite agreement at a later date to formally govern the terms and conditions of the project.

“The project will not have any effect on the share capital and shareholding structure of the company. However, the project is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the company throughout its tenure.”
