KKB Engineering wins RM80mil contracts


KUALA LUMPUR: KKB Engineering Bhd has secured six contracts worth a combined RM80mil from six clients.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing, the company said the contracts involve the supply of mild steel cement-lined (MSCL) pipes and specials for QC Construction & Engineering Sdn Bhd, Bumia Sdn Bhd and EPR (Kuching) Sdn Bhd, as well as the supply, fabrication and hot-dip galvanising of AP poles and vertical modular integrated steel system rectangular posts for Global Rail Sdn Bhd.

KKB’s subsidiaries, Harum Bidang Sdn Bhd and KKB Industries (Sabah) Sdn Bhd, have also received orders from Chun Jun Piling Sdn Bhd for the supply of mild steel pipes and from Citic Construction (M) Sdn Bhd for the supply of MSCL pipes.

The company said the order from Global Rail will be supplied over four quarters from the second quarter of 2026 (2Q26) until the 1Q27, while the remaining orders from the other clients are expected to be delivered by the 3Q26, subject to variation orders. — Bernama
