ICT Zone wins RM17.3mil tech contract

PETALING JAYA: ICT Zone Asia Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, ICT Zone Ventures Bhd, has received a purchase order of RM17.29mil, for the leasing of information and communication technology hardware and software.

The order came from Juricco Holding Sdn Bhd and will be in effect for a period of 60 months, with the commencement date to be determined and agreed upon by both parties later.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said the purchase order involves the leasing of hardware and software including laptops, desktops, and related peripheral devices to Juricco for its delivery to a government agency.

ICT Zone Asia said the order will be carried out without any provision of other services.

“The group’s gearing level is expected to increase accordingly as the company proposes to procure bank borrowings to partially finance the purchases to fulfil the purchase order,” it said.
