PETALING JAYA: Globetronics Technology Bhd
has appointed Ta Shun Dher as its non-executive chairman.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the original equipment and original design manufacturer, as well as contract manufacturer of semiconductor-based products, said its executive chairman, Liaw Way Gian (40) has been redesignated to executive director.
The company said Ta (38), together with his brother, lead property development group Majestic Gen.
“Under their leadership, the group adopted a forward-thinking approach that integrates lifestyle, community, and architectural innovation.”
Globetronics noted that during Ta’s tenure, sister company IT Sea Holdings expanded rapidly across South-East Asia, establishing over 20 new operations within a five-year period.
