Astro to stop new Astro Fibre sign-ups from Feb 2026

KUALA LUMPUR: Astro said it will stop new sales and subscriber acquisitions for Astro Fibre effective Feb 1, 2026, following a strategic review of its businesses.

“There will be no impact to existing customers, including those who sign up before Feb 1. Astro will continue to provide full-service assurance, including restoration, relocation, and ongoing customer support,” Astro said in a statement on its website.

Astro said all current Astro Fibre users will continue to enjoy the same service, plan features, and support levels without any interruption.

“All technical support—including maintenance, repairs, equipment replacement and existing installation orders—will proceed as normal, it said, adding that customers may still upgrade or change their plans, subject to coverage availability.
