JOHOR BAHRU: A1 A.K. Koh Group Bhd
and its subsidiaries have been appointed by Uniraw Dairies & Food Sdn Bhd as the sole distributor for New Zealand Instant Full Cream Milk Powder in Peninsular Malaysia.
In a statement today, the group said the appointment expands its fast-moving consumer goods portfolio and strengthens its distribution presence in the processed food and beverage segment, including the hotel, restaurant, café and catering market.
It said milk powder offers longer shelf life and greater storage and transportation convenience compared with fresh milk, and is suitable for both household consumption and professional kitchen use.
The group said initial sales have been encouraging, supported by repeat purchases and stable supply, and the product is expected to contribute to its revenue in the coming quarters.
A1 AKK chief operating officer Koh Chung Jie said the company remains on track to deliver sustainable growth in the coming years, backed by its strategic initiatives, such as the expansion of its product portfolio and strengthening its market reach. - Bernama
