Ramssol appointed by MOT as JPJ collection agent


PETALING JAYA: Ramssol Group Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Rider Gate Sdn Bhd, has been appointed by the Transport Ministry (MOT) as the Road Transport Department Malaysia’s (JPJ) authorised collection agent for motor vehicle ownership transfers, motor vehicle license renewals, and traffic summons payments.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the people solutions and licensing technology provider said the contract is for a period of two years from the commencement date of the JPJ services on the Rider Gate application platform

portal, subject to the terms of appointment as set out in the contract.

“The estimated total value of the contract will be dependent on the number of transactions performed during the contract period.

“An agreement to formalise the contract will be signed and announced by the company in due course.”

Ramssol said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of the company for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2025, onwards until the expiry of the contract.
