Quality concrete secures RM91.48mil road project


KUALA LUMPUR: Quality Concrete Holdings Bhd (QCHB) has secured a RM91.48mil contract for road infrastructure works under the Upper Rajang Development Agency (URDA).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Quality Concrete said its subsidiary, QC Construction & Engineering Sdn Bhd, accepted the letter of award from the Regional Corridor Development Authority (Recoda) for Package 1 of the URDA project, which covers road works in Bukit Goram, Katibas, Ngemah and Machan.

The completion period for the contract is 24 months commencing from January 2026.

QCHB said the project is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets over the contract duration. It will be funded through internally generated funds and bank borrowings.
