Haily wins RM43mil housing job

PETALING JAYA: Haily Group Bhd has secured a RM42.85mil construction contract to build 187 double-storey terrace houses and a Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) substation in Bandar Putra, Senai, Johor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said its wholly owned unit, Haily Construction Sdn Bhd, accepted the letter of award from DC Architects Sdn Bhd on behalf of Nice Frontier Sdn Bhd.

Haily said the project comprised two phases: 91 terrace units and a TNB substation in Phase 1, followed by 96 terrace units under Phase 2.

Construction is scheduled to begin on Dec 15, 2025, under a 15-month contract, with completion expected by March 14, 2027.

Haily expects the contract to contribute positively to its earnings and net assets throughout the project period.
