PETALING JAYA: Tuju Setia Bhd has secured a contract worth RM420mil from Sunway Bhd to construct serviced apartments and facilities for the Sunway Cochrane development project in Kuala Lumpur.

In a statement, the construction services firm said it will construct two serviced apartment towers supported by podium facilities comprising retail floors, facilities decks, a seven-storey car park, and a link bridge providing direct access to the Cochrane MRT station.

“The project is scheduled to commence on March 1, 2026 and is expected to be completed over a period of 40 months.

“The project win provides earnings visibility for the group through to 2029,” it said.

Tuju Setia managing director Wee Eng Kong said the latest win bodes well for the replenishment of the company’s order book, as it has completed six projects in 2024 and 2025.

Sunway Cochrane Kuala Lumpur is a 5.40-acre transit-oriented development in the Jalan Cochrane neighbourhood of Kuala Lumpur, comprising two freehold serviced apartment towers—Block A with 54 storeys and Block B with 55 storeys.
