SunMate Energy gets new investors


PETALING JAYA: SunMate Energy Sdn Bhd has entered into shares subscription agreements with Sunview Ventures Sdn Bhd.

Both parties are indirect wholly-owned subsidiaries of Sunview Group Bhd.

As per the agreement, Sunview Ventures will subscribe to 599,900 new ordinary shares, representing a 60% equity interest in SunMate.

Concurrently, SunMate has entered into a shares subscription agreement with NuEnergy Holdings Bhd, whereby the latter will subscribe to the remaining 400,000 new SunMate shares for RM400,000.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, Sunview Group said that upon completion, Sunview Ventures will own 60% of SunMate, while Nuenergy will hold the remaining 40%.

Both SunMate and Nuenergy specialise in energy solutions, particularly solar.
