SEREMBAN: The development of the Central Region Industrial Cluster, which encompasses Negri Sembilan, is expected to further strengthen the industrial sector and spur the state’s economic growth.

Its Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun said the initiative will also open up more investment opportunities and enhance competitiveness, positioning Negri Sembilan as one of the leading investment destinations in the region.

“We are thankful to be in a new (economic) corridor,” Bernama quoted him as saying.

“Kuala Lumpur has long been the nation’s capital, while Selangor has been a key industrial hub.

“Negri Sembilan and Melaka, however, have been somewhat lagging behind, so this cluster gives us the advantage to continue developing our industrial areas.”
