PETALING JAYA: IJM Corp Bhd
denied being approached for a potential merger with Sunway Bhd, in response to a local media report suggesting both companies have been in confidential discussions for more than a year.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, IJM said its board “is not aware of any such proposal and has not been approached regarding a potential merger”.
