AGX secures VietJet logistics agreement

PETALING JAYA: AGX Group Bhd has moved to deepen its regional logistics footprint through a new two-year contract with VietJet Aviation Joint Stock Co, marking a strategic expansion into Vietnam’s fast-growing aviation sector.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the group announced that its subsidiary, AGX Logistics (Viet Nam) Co Ltd, has been appointed to provide freight forwarding and customs brokerage services to VietJet from Nov 1, 2025 to Oct 31, 2026.

Under the agreement, AGX Vietnam will manage shipments for VietJet, including critical “Aircraft on Ground” logistics on a 24-hour, seven-day basis.

VietJet will pay based on mutually agreed rates tied to chargeable weight for air freight and volume or container load for sea freight.
