Key ASIC gets RM2mil repeat AI chip order


PETALING JAYA: Key Asic Bhd has secured a repeat order worth RM2.09mil for its proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) chips, reinforcing its position in the semiconductor sector.

The first batch has already been shipped, with the remainder being delivered to the customer.

According to the company, this marks continued confidence in Key Asic’s AI design innovation and reliability, with the project having contributed RM10.9mil in total revenue since its inception.

“Our AI chip continues to deliver exceptional performance and energy efficiency across applications in healthcare, industrial automation, and edge computing,” said chairman and chief executive Eg Kah Yee.

Key ASIC said it remains committed to advancing AI hardware innovation and capturing the growing global demand for intelligent, energy-efficient chips.

The company’s AI chips are used in high-performance computing, medical technology, and industrial automation.
