Kintan Prima completes takeover of JKB

PETALING JAYA: Kintan Prima Sdn Bhd (KPSB) has completed an unconditional mandatory take-over offer for all remaining ordinary shares in Jasa Kita Bhd (JKB) at 38 sen per share.

The offer, targeting JKB shares not already owned by the KPSB, Abd Azis Mohamad or persons acting in concert, was aimed to fully acquire JKB.

As of the closing date, KPSB, Abd Azis, and persons acting in concert held 225.95 million JKB shares, representing 50.19% equity, with no additional shares acquired during the offer period.

However, acceptances reached 124.62 million shares, equivalent to 27.74% equity, bringing the total held to 350.57 million shares, or 77.93% of JKB’s 448.55 million issued shares.

The move consolidates control for KPSB, Abd Azis, and persons acting in concert, marking a significant step in JKB’s corporate restructuring.
