Mestron inks MoU with Trina Solar for PV module supply in Malaysia


PETALING JAYA: Mestron Holdings Bhd has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Trina Solar Energy Development Pte Ltd of Singapore to install photovoltaic (PV) modules supplied by the latter for upcoming renewable energy projects across Malaysia.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Mestron said it entered into the MoU through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Mestron Energy Sdn Bhd (MEnergy).

Trina will supply up to 50 megawatt of high-efficiency Vertex N-type solar modules that MEnergy hopes to install in potential projects across Malaysia in 2026.
