PETALING JAYA: TMK Chemical Bhd
has entered into a distributor agreement with Tata Chemicals Soda Ash Partners LLC to distribute soda ash dense in bulk across Vietnam.
“Pursuant to the agreement, Tata appoints TMK Chemical and its subsidiary, TMK – Dai Hung Chemicals Co Ltd as non-exclusive distributor of soda ash dense in bulk in Vietnam,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia. The chemicals company said the initial term of the agreement is Jan 1, 2026 to Dec 31, 2026.
“Thereafter, the term shall be automatically renewed for successive one-year periods, unless either party, at least six months prior to the end of the then-current period, gives the other party written notice that the agreement will terminate as of the end of such then-current period.”
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, TMK said the agreement is expected to contribute positively towards the future earnings and net assets of the company and its subsidiaries.
