KUALA LUMPUR: SP Setia Bhd via its wholly-owned subsidiary Setia EcoHill Sdn Bhd has formed a joint venture with property investment company Mitsui Fudosan (Asia) Malaysia Sdn Bhd to develop a 113-acre residential development at its flagship township of Setia EcoHill in Semenyih.

In a statement, the property developer said the resulting JV company, named Setia MF EcoHill Sdn Bhd, will develop a residential development with an estimated gross development value of RM1.3bil.

The proposed project will comprise 683 units of bungalows, semi-detached and cluster homes, with its maiden launch in 2026

“We are pleased to announce Setia’s pivotal collaboration with Mitsui Fudosan for our upcoming development in Setia EcoHill, Semenyih. We are confident that this partnership will boost Setia EcoHill’s overall profile and marketability to local owner occupiers and investors," said SP Setia's president and CEO Datuk Zaini Yusoff.

He added that Setia remains focused in accelerating developments within the Semenyih and Bangi corridor, which is in line with the group’s strategic landbank management objectives.
