Maxis accepts MCMC's offer for 2100MHz spectrum assignment


KUALA LUMPUR: Maxis Bhd announced that it has accepted the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) offer for a spectrum assignment in the 2100 megahertz (MHz) band.

The offer entails 2x10MHz of spectrum with an upfront payment of RM100 million and cumulative annual payments of RM300 million over the entire assignment period, the telecommunication company said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia today. - Bernama
