Cypark gets RM1.3bil loan 


Cypark said the facility is structured to strengthen the group’s capital structure, optimise its cash flow, and provide strategic capacity for growth.

PETALING JAYA: Cypark Resources Bhd has secured RM1.3bil of financing from MBSB Bank Bhd, combining refinancing and working capital solutions.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Cypark said the facility is structured to strengthen the group’s capital structure, optimise its cash flow, and provide strategic capacity for growth.

In addition, Cypark will place funds into MBSB Bank’s first Sustainable Term Deposit-i, a deposit product that channels funds directly into environmentally and socially responsible projects.

The financing tenure of the term loans range from eight to 17 years, tailored to align with Cypark’s profile under long term power purchase agreements for its renewable energy assets.
