Greenyield disposes of Kuala Langat land for RM8mil

KUALA LUMPUR: Greenyield Bhd has, via its wholly-owned subsidiary Greenyield Industries (M) Sdn Bhd, disposed of a 10,660 sqm parcel of vacant leasehold industrial land in Kuala Langat, Selangor, to Filtermation (MFG) Sdn Bhd for RM8mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the land was originally bought for RM4.04mil on Sept 10, 2014, and had a net book value of RM3.59mil as at Dec 31, 2024.

Based on the disposal consideration, the proposed disposal is expected to result in a gain of about RM4.36mil.

It intends to allocate the proceeds of the sale to working capital and cash reserves, minus the expenses of the sale and real property gain tax.
