Jati Tinggi unit wins RM54mil cabling job


PETALING JAYA: Jati Tinggi Group Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary Jati Tinggi Holding Sdn Bhd has secured a RM54.24mil award from Worktime Engineering Sdn Bhd for work on a 132 kilovolt underground cable for the main intake substation in Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the engineering services company said the scope of works would include the supply and erection of power cables, fibre optic cables, joint and termination, testing, commissioning and all ancillary work.

The contract has a duration of 22 months from the date of acceptance of the letter of award.

“The letter of award is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings, earnings per share and net assets per share of the company over the duration of the contract.
