KUALA LUMPUR: SD Guthrie Bhd
has inked a partnership with Menteri Besar Incorporated Negeri Sembilan (MBINS) to develop an industrial park on a 300-acre tract in Port Dickson.
Concomitantly, the property group also signed a sales and purchase deal to sell an additional 300 acres of land from MBINS at the same location.
In a statement, SD Guthrie said the 600-acre site is located in its Sengkang Estate, which lies within the Mukim of Pasir Panjang in the district of Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan.
Infrastructure works for the industrial park are expected to commence in 2Q26, subject to the finalisation of a masterplan, which is targeted for 1Q26.
SD Guthrie's group managing director Datuk Mohamad Helmy Othman Basha said the collaboration with MBINS is another important milestone for Guthrie as it strengthens its presence in Negeri Sembilan’s industrial development sector.
"By combining land monetisation and a key strategic partnership with MBINS, we are able to realise the value of the land immediately and also secure another potential recurring income stream for Guthrie.
"This scalable model is necessary for the long-term growth of Guthrie and one we aim to replicate across other high-potential corridors,” he said.
He added that the collaboration between Guthrie and MBINS reflects a mutual ambition to foster inclusive
and sustainable development in the Port Dickson Free Zone (PDFZ).
