PETALING JAYA: Tan Sri Abdul Wahid Omar, 61, has been appointed as senior independent and non-executive director at IOI Corp Bhd
effective June 16, 2025.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the plantation group stated that he is also currently chairman of Cypark Resources Bhd and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF)-Malaysia and MySDG Foundation.
On April 30, 2025, Abdul Wahid completed his five-year tenure as chairman of Bursa Malaysia Bhd.
