TAS Offshore wins RM38mil shipbuilding contracts


PETALING JAYA: TAS Offshore Bhd has secured shipbuilding contracts for six units of tugboats with a value of approximately RM38mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the shipbuilding company said the contracts were signed with two new customers from Indonesia.

“These vessels are expected to be delivered during the financial year 2026.”

TAS Offshore said the revenue generated from the contracts is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of TAS Group for the financial year ending May 31, 2026.

“None of the directors and/or major shareholders of TAS or persons connected to them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the above contract,” it said.
