HANOI: Promising developments are being made in the ongoing tariff negotiations between Vietnam and the United States, despite persistent trade challenges, officials say.

Do Ngoc Hung, Vietnam’s trade counsellor to the United States, said this at a conference for Vietnam trade offices abroad held by the Industry and Trade Ministry on Monday.
