Magma in shareholding changes

PETALING JAYA: Magma Group Bhd, formerly known as Impiana Hotels Bhd, has announced a change in the composition of its substantial shareholders following the allotment of consideration shares pursuant to the proposed acquisition that was approved at its EGM last month.

In a statement, the company said Skyload Express Sdn Bhd has emerged as a direct substantial shareholder, holding 120 million ordinary shares or 7.697% of Magma’s total issued share capital.

In relation to the same exercise, Empire Solaris Sdn Bhd became a substantial shareholder through an indirect interest in the same number of shares.

Among individual investors, Datuk Lee Chong Wei has acquired a direct interest in 26.5 million shares (1.700%) and an indirect interest in 127 million shares (8.146%).

Meanwhile, Lee Kim Hai now holds an indirect interest in 120 million shares (7.697%).

Meanwhile, Datuk Seri Lee Hock Seng, already a substantial shareholder, now holds a direct interest of 120.8 million shares (7.748%) and an indirect interest of 182 million shares (11.673%), bringing his total interest to approximately 19.421% of the group’s issued capital.

“These shareholding changes are a direct outcome of the consideration of share allotments to Skyload under the acquisition exercise,” said Magma.
