Naza Enviro, Grandblue to modernise waste system

PETALING JAYA: Naza Enviro Holdings Sdn Bhd has tied up with China-based Grandblue Environment Co Ltd to jointly implement large-scale solid waste management, waste recovery and recycling and renewable energy projects in Malaysia.

The Naza Group said the initiative represents a significant step forward in advancing the nation’s environmental sustainability goals and accelerating its journey toward a circular economy and carbon neutrality.

Naza Group’s executive chairman SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin said the partnership reflects Naza Enviro’s commitment to building a cleaner, greener Malaysia through innovation, technology and strategic international collaboration.

He said the joint venture will now move into the planning and feasibility assessment phase, with both parties working closely with key stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
