Hextar to sell Pasir Gudang land for RM16mil

PETALING JAYA: Hextar Technologies Solutions Bhd is disposing of a 1.214 ha leasehold industrial land in Pasir Gudang, Johor, to Airique Property Sdn Bhd for RM16mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Hextar said the property includes a single-storey warehouse, a two-storey office, a guardhouse and a garbage house.

Hextar said the disposal is expected to unlock the value of its investment in the property.

“In this respect, the group is expected to record a net pro forma gain on disposal of RM4.96mil based on the carrying amount as at March 31, 2024,” it added

Hextar said the bulk of the proceeds will be used to invest in its technology business.
