Lagenda Properties acquires 138.17 acres in Seremban for RM60.19mil


KUALA LUMPUR: Lagenda Properties Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary has inked a deal to acquire six plots of freehold land measuring 138.17 acres in Sungai Gadut, Seremban, from Land & General Bhd for RM60.19mil.

In a bourse filing, Lagenda said the purchase consideration for the acquisition will be funded by a combination of internally generated funds and bank borrowings.

"The proposed acquisition provides the group with an opportunity to establish its presence in Negeri Sembilan, making it the sixth state in the group’s nationwide expansion.

"This entry enables the Group to leverage its expertise in developing affordable housing solutions to meet the rising demand for quality, budget-friendly residential developments in the region," said Lagenda.
