MN Holdings unit undertakes RM58.2mil substation contract from TNB


KUALA LUMPUR: MN Holdings has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary MN Power Transmission Sdn Bhd has secured a contract for a new transmission main intake (PMU) 132/33 kilovolt (kV) Chuping Valley Industrial Area Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) (2x90MVA) at Chuping, Perlis, from Tenaga Nasional Bhd.

In a bourse filing, MN Holdings said the job, valued at RM58.2mil, includes supplying, erecting, testing and commissioning the PMU 132/33kV Chuping Valley Industrial Area (GIS) complete with relevant primary, secondary and all associated civil works.

The contract took effect on March 6, 2025, and will be completed 840 days from the commencement date.

MN Power Trasnissions is required to furnish a performance security of RM2.91mil, representing 5% of the contract amount.
