PETALING JAYA: Nestcon Bhd
has secured a contract from ST Dynamo DC Sdn Bhd in respect of infrastructure works on Plot 4A, Edupark West, Johor Baru worth RM58mil.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Nestcon said the contract will commence on Feb 24, 2025 and be completed on Sept 25, 2025, or “within such extended date of the conditions of the contract provides.”
Nestcon said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the net assets per share, earnings per share and gearing of the company throughout the duration of the project.
“The company does not foresee any exceptional risk other than the normal operational risks associated with the letter of award (LoA) and / or the project.
Nevertheless, Nestcon said it will take the necessary steps to mitigate the risks as and when they occur.
“The board, after having considered all aspects of the LoA and the project, is of the opinion that it is within the ordinary course of business of Nestcon and the acceptance of the LoA is in the best interest of the company.”
