Taiwan's ASE opens 5th semiconductor plant in Penang


GEORGE TOWN: Taiwan’s ASE Technology Holding Co Ltd has officially opened its fifth plant in Penang for chip packaging and testing.

The world’s largest provider of outsourced semiconductor assembly and test services has developed its fourth and fifth plants in the Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone with an allocation of RM4.5 billion.
