MAHB shares to be suspended from Feb 20


PETALING JAYA: Trading in Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) shares will be suspended from Feb 20, 2024.

The airport operator announced earlier that it had applied to Bursa Securities for delisting from the Official List, in accordance with Paragraph 16.07(a) of the Listing Requirements.

Gateway Development Alliance Sdn Bhd (GDA) on Wednesday announced that it secured 98.68% of MAHB’s shares at the close of the consortium’s takeover offer for MAHB.

GDA is a consortium comprising Khazanah Nasional Bhd, the Employees Provident Fund Board, the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and BlackRock’s Global Infrastructure Partners.

With the close of the offer, Bursa Malaysia will suspend the trading of MAHB shares from Feb 20, in preparation for the company’s delisting from the Main Market.

MAHB fell four sen yesterday to close at RM10.84 with 831,000 shares traded.
