TMC Life Sciences appoints Ahmad Adzuan as group CEO


KUALA LUMPUR: TMC Life Sciences Bhd (TMCLS) has appointed Datuk Dr Ahmad Adzuan Abdul Rahman as its group chief executive officer (CEO), effective today.

Ahmad Adzuan is a founding member and was the advisor of Novotec Group Pte Ltd, and had served as the regional managing director and executive vice-president of IDS Medical Systems (idsMED) Group from October 2020 to June 2023.

He also served as CEO of Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur from March 2015 to August 2018, TMCLS said in a Bursa Malaysia filing today.

Ahmad Adzuan holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery and Bachelor of Obstetrics from Queen's University Belfast, United Kingdom, as well as a Master of Business Administration from International Institute for Management Development, Switzerland.

In a separate filing, TMCLS also announced that its current group CEO, Dr Melvin Heng Jun Li has been redesignated as a non-executive director.

He currently serves as an executive director and group CEO at Thomson Medical Group Ltd, Singapore.

Heng’s past roles include CEO of Gleneagles Hospital from January 2021 to October 2022 and Singapore's Ministry of Health medical advisor from August 2016 to January 2018. - Bernama
