Keyfield gets contracts totalling RM56mil from PETRONAS Carigali

PETALING JAYA: Keyfield International Bhd has accepted a work order award and work order extension in December and November 2024 respectively from PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd for the charter of two dynamic positioning 2 accommodation work boats (DP2 AWBs), valued at RM56mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Keyfield said the DP2 AWBs are for the charterer’s offshore activities in accordance with the provisions under the panel contractor contract for offshore support vessel (OSV) services.

The work order award and work order extension are expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of Keyfield for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2025.

“Subject to charterer’s rights under the contract, both the work order award and work order extension issued will be for a duration of between five to six months’ each from the respective commencement dates.”

Keyfield said the acceptance and execution of the contracts will be subject to normal operational risks associated within its business operations, which it actively mitigates through various internal control procedures.
