PETALING JAYA: Uzma Bhd
has secured a contract from EnQuest Petroleum Production Malaysia Ltd for the provision of a hydraulic workover unit (HWU) for Raya A, pursuant to a letter of award dated Nov 12.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Uzma said the scope of works comprises the provision of HWU equipment and services for EnQuest’s workover campaign offshore Sabah and Sarawak.
The contract, effective from Nov 12, 2024, will remain valid until the completion of the campaign, unless terminated earlier in accordance with its terms and conditions.
Uzma noted that the contract will not impact the company’s share capital or structure as it does not involve the issuance of new shares.
However, it is expected to contribute positively to earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending June 30, 2025, and beyond.
