KKB secures contracts worth RM93mil


PETALING JAYA: KKB Engineering Bhd has secured two contracts and one purchase order, totalling RM93mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, KKB noted receiving a letter of award (LoA) from Petroleum Sarawak Bhd (Petros) to recondition, requalify, and repaint liquefied petroleum gas cylinders.

It received a second LoA from Bina Puri Builder Sdn Bhd (BP) for the second phase of the proposed Serian regional water supply.

KKB also received a purchase order from Greenchain Capital Sdn Bhd (GCSB) to supply mild steel cement lined pipes and specials.

The Petros term contract is valid until the third quarter of 2027 while the BP subcontract is expected to be completed within 24 months.

The GCSB purchase order is scheduled to be delivered within 12 months. The contracts are expected to contribute positively to group earnings and net assets.
