Kimlun unit awarded RM128.52mil contract for Senai-Desaru Expressway upgrading works


KUALA LUMPUR: Kimlun Corp Bhd has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Kimlun Sdn Bhd has been successful in its bid for the upgrading works of that stretch of Senai-Desaru Expressway from Jambatan Sg Johor (KM49.3) to Sg Semenchu (KM58.70).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said Senai-Desaru Expressway Bhd had accepted Kimlun's tender and awarded a contract valued at RM128.52mil for the project.

The construction work is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2027, and is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the group for the financial years during the contract period.
