Gamuda unit bags RM451.4mil data centre construction job from BCEI


KUALA LUMPUR Gamuda Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary Gamuda Engineering Sdn Bhd has secured a RM451.4mil contract for the construction of a data centre in Cyberjaya from BCEI Malaysia Sdn Bhd.

In a statement, the engineering and construction firm said the job entails the foundation, civil and structural and architectural works of the facility.

The project will commence in the last quarter of 2024 and be completed in the first quarter of 2026.

"The Cyberjaya Data Centre FCSA Works is expected to contribute positively to the revenue and earnings of Gamuda Group for the financial year ending July 31, 2025, till completion of the FCSA Works," said Gamuda.
