Haily unit secures RM65.1mil construction job in Johor Bahru


KUALA LUMPUR: Haily Group Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary Hail Construction Sdn Bhd has accepted a RM65.1mil job from Akipro Architect Sdn Bhd on behalf of Austin Senibong Development Sdn Bhd for the construction of Phase 6C of a development in Bandar Jaya Putra in Tebrau, Johor Bahru.

According to Haily, Phase 6C of the project comprises 134 units of 20X65ft double-storey terrace houses, 72 units of 20X70ft - 20X100ft double-storey terrace houses and a Tenaga Nasional Bhd substation.

The construction of the project will commence on Dec 2, 2024, and will be completed within 15 months.

Haily said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia it expects the contract to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets over the duration of the project, assuming no material delay in the timing.
