Binasat wins RM46mil transmission job


PETALING JAYA: Binasat Communications Bhd’s subsidiary, Binasat Digital Sdn Bhd, secured a contract worth RM46.3mil from Reltency Engineering Services Sdn Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Binasat said the contract was for the establishment of a 132/33kV Genting Kelang GIS Transmission Main Intake in Kuala Lumpur for Tenaga Nasional Bhd.

The contract would take effect from the date of the letter of acceptance, with a completion time of 540 days from the start date.

Binasat expects the contract to contribute positively to its earnings over the duration of the contract.
