LFE secures RM81mil main contractor job


PETALING JAYA: LFE Corp Bhd has accepted a letter of award worth RM81.71mil from Puncakcity Development Sdn Bhd to be the main contractor for main building works, for a period of 32 months.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, LFE said the contract commenced on Oct 15, 2024 and will be completed on June 14, 2027.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of the LFE group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2024 and up to the expiry of the contract.

“The company does not expect any material risk arising from the contract other than normal operational risk associated with it.”

Save for Chuah Chong Ewe, the executive chairman and substantial shareholder of LFE, the company said none of the director, substantial shareholder or person connected to them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the contract.
