Protasco’s development contracts cancelled, replaced with new ones


PETALING JAYA: Protasco Bhd has received new letters of award from Perbadanan Putrajaya (Putrajaya Corp) to develop to develop 654 units of apartments under "Projek Residensi Madani Melur" and 984 units of apartments under "Projek Residensi Harga Bebas Kenanga.”

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Protasco said the letters of award from Putrajaya Corp on July 22, 2022, had been cancelled and will be replaced with the latest contracts.

Under the previous contracts, Protasco’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Protasco Development Sdn Bhd, was appointed to develop 688 units of apartments under “Projek Residensi Prihatin Keluarga Malaysia Putrajaya Melur” and 984 units of apartments under “Projek Residensi Prihatin Keluarga Malaysia Putrajaya Kenanga”.

Protasco said the latest contracts are expected to contribute positively to the future earnings of the group.
