PETALING JAYA: LFE Corp Bhd
has accepted a letter of award from Gamuda Engineering Sdn Bhd for works at the Elmina Business Park Hyperscale Data Centre, worth RM38.8mil.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, LFE said the contract will involve the construction, completion, testing and commissioning of electrical services at core and shell and other associated works at the site.
The date of commencement of the contract is Oct 4, 2024, and is scheduled to be completed on Oct 18, 2025.
“The company does not expect any material risk arising from the contract other than normal operational risk associated with the contract, in which the group would take appropriate measures to minimise them.
“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of LFE Group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2024 and up to the expiry of the contract.”
