PETALING JAYA: KJTS Group Bhd
has accepted a letter of award from Sunway Engie DC Sdn Bhd for maintenance of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation pipework for a data centre in Sedenak Tech Park, Johor, worth RM23.75mil.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, KJTS said the contract will involve design, planning, supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning, warranty and comprehensive maintenance.
“The sub-contract works shall commenced from July 26, 2024 and is expected to be completed on Oct 31, 2025,” it said.
KJTS said it does not foresee any exceptional risk other than the normal operational risks associated with the sub-contract, which are within the ordinary course of business of the group.
The sub-contract will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholding of KJTS and its subsidiaries.
“However, the sub-contract is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets of KJTS until the expiration of the sub-contract.”
