Securemetric bags contract in the Philippines


PETALING JAYA: Securemetric Bhd’s subsidiary in the Philippines, Securemetric Technology Inc, has been awarded a contract valued at 186.99 million peso (RM14.38mil) to provide subscription and support and maintenance services for public key infrastructure, hardware security module, SigningCloud and electronic Know Your Customer.

The group, however, did not disclose the party that awarded the contract.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the contract would run for a period of one year from January 2025.

“It is expected to contribute positively to the earnings per share and net assets per share of Securemetric for the financial year ending 2025 onwards,” it said.
