PETALING JAYA: Citaglobal Bhd has secured two construction-related contracts for jobs in Sarawak totalling RM50.95mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Citaglobal said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Citaglobal Powergen Sdn Bhd (CPSB), had accepted a contract worth RM19.35mil from NL Builder Sdn Bhd for a proposed riverwall from Kampung Lintang to Kampung Tupong, Kuching division, Sarawak.

CPSB also secured a job from Avos (M) Sdn Bhd for the proposed construction and completion of infrastructure works of the Red Line from Kuching Sentral to Pending worth RM31.6mil under the Kuching Urban transportation system.

Citaglobal said the jobs would be for a duration of 20 months each.

“The contracts are expected to contribute positively to the future earnings and net assets per share of the company for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2024, 2025 and 2026,” it said.

“The company does not foresee any exceptional risk factors other than the normal operation risks associated with the contracts and will take the necessary steps to mitigate these risks as and when they occur.”
