KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia has suspended intraday short-selling (IDSS) for Genetec Technology Bhd
(0104) and Notion VTEC Bhd (0083) for the rest of the day due to breaches of the price limit.
In separate "special” announcements, the exchange said the suspension was triggered after both stocks dropped more than 15 per cent from the reference price.
It said that the short-selling for Genetec and Notion under the IDSS will resume on Monday, Aug 26, 2024 at 08.30 am.
At 11.31 am, Genetec’s share price tumbled 18.31 per cent to RM1.16 while Notion dived 22.62 per cent to RM1.06. - Bernama
